Please use this guide to estimate when your order will ship from our Bloomington Indiana facility.  A business day may be considered to be Monday through Friday, excluding US Federal Holidays. 

Processing Time:  All orders received by 3:00PM on a business day where the item(s) is/are in stock will ship the same day the order is received.  Orders received after 3:00PM on a business day where the item(s) is/are in stock will ship the following business day.  When one or more item(s) is out-of-stock but all of the materials are in stock it will be blended, packaged, and shipped the business day following receipt of your order.  

Standard Orders.  These will be shipped via USPS (United States Postal Service) priority mail.  Delivery time to most of the USA for standard orders is usually two to three business days. 

Two-Day Orders.  These will be shipped via UPS (United Parcel Service) 2^ndDay Service. Delivery time to most of the USA for two-day orders is two business days. 

One-Day Orders.  These will be shipped via UPS (United Parcel Service) Overnight Service. Delivery time to most of the USA for one-day orders is one business days. 

APO/FPO Orders.  These will be shipped via USPS.  These orders generally require five to nine business days. 

International Orders.  These are treated as standard orders and are usually shipped USPS International Priority Mail.  If the order exceeds 50 pounds (22.7kg) it will ship UPS Standard International Service.  Because of the variability of delays in customs facilities we cannot reliably predict the delivery time.  International orders are accepted ONLY from the following: Canada, Mexico, Central America, South America (excluding Venezuela), Caribbean Islands (excluding Cuba), and the European Union. 

Out-of-Stock Delays.  If one or more item(s) from your order is/are out-of-stock and the raw materials are not immediately on hand in our production facility we will notify you by Email.  In our Email to you we will tell you when the materials are due into our production facility from our supplier(s) and how soon they will be ready for shipment to you.  This Email will give you the option of canceling the order without any penalty. 

Shipping Charges:  Shipping charges will be added to your order when you checkout.  If for any reason the checkout software cannot verify charges with the carrier you will be charged estimated (default) shipping fees and these will be confirmed prior to shipping and your order adjusted accordingly.  If the actual shipping charges exceed that estimated you will be given the opportunity to cancel the order without penalty.  Note that once an item has shipped the shipping charges are NON-REFUNDABLE.

Chef Nick’s is happy to accept returns and exchanges on most merchandise within 60 days of shipment.  Unfortunately and without exception, we cannot accept returns on opened food items, items that have exceeded their “Use By” date, or items not directly purchased from ChefNicks.com.  Please return items purchased from one of our retail partners to the retailer you purchased it from. 

Special note for product quality issues:  If you receive a Chef Nick’s product and you believe that is of poor or unacceptable quality please call Chef Nick’s at (812)824-8226 or Email quality@chefnicks.com.  We will make all reasonable and customary efforts to satisfy your product quality needs. 

To return an item to Chef Nick’s you will need your original order number.  Please contact Chef Nick’s at (812)824-8226 or Email returns@chefnicks.comto get a RMA (return material authorization) number.  AFTER getting your RMA number send the item(s) back to (you are responsible for return freight/postage):

You MUST write the RMA number on the outside of the package or it WILL NOT be accepted by our receiving personnel and you will not get your refund or replacement.  Do not “make-up” an RMA number because it will not be in our database and it will not be accepted.  Do not put the RMA number on a slip of paper inside the package since we will not be opening any package with no RMA number on the outside.  We do not accept any packages we are not expecting; this is part of our Quality Management and Food Safety programs to help prevent possible product contamination.
